Verbeterde eigenschappen voor het eisen van PVC
Polyvinylalcohol PVA zijn polyvinylalcoholen met een zeer lage mate van hydrolyse, dus ze lossen volledig op in water. Polyvinylalcohol -PVA zijn daarom uitstekende primaire suspendatiemiddelen in polymerisatie van vinylchloride suspensie. Deze PVOH -producten reguleren de vorming van de korrel tijdens de productie, wat resulteert in verbeterde PVC -eigenschappen zoals meer uniforme structuur, morfologie en deeltjesgrootteverdeling.
Optimale viscositeit voor efficiëntere processen
Een ander voordeel van Polyvinyl Alcohol PVA is hun bijzonder lage viscositeit. Met 70-80 mol% hydrolyse varieert de viscositeit van deze kuraray-polymeren van 5 MPA's tot 8 MPA's (gemeten in een 4% waterige oplossing). Deze PVOH -polymeren zijn gemakkelijk te verwijderen, wat helpt het productieafval te verminderen en productieprocessen efficiënter maakt.
