ASTM A192 omvat minimumwand-dikte, naadloze koolstofstalen ketel en oververhitterbuizen voor hogedrukdienst.

De slanggroottes en diktes die gewoonlijk aan deze specificatie zijn ingericht, zijn 1/2 inch tot 7 in (12,7 tot 177,8 mm) buitendiameter en 0,085 tot 1.000 in (2,2 tot 25,4 mm), inclusief, in minimale wanddikte.
